WELCOME!

Hi, I'm Elodie

A wildlife photographer who caught the polar bug years ago, my happy place is the high arctic and in particular Svalbard, with its fragility and uniqueness, as well as its population of polar bears. Through my wildlife and landscape work, I wish to encourage people to protect this essential part of the world.

Over the last 10 years I have been to Svalbard many times, as well as Lapland, Northern Canada and Iceland. Greenland and Antarctica will hopefully be next.

Breaking News!!

"Of Walruses and Bears" wins Shortlist at 2024 Sony World Awards!

I am honoured to be shortlisted in the Natural World & Wildlife category, a category especially important for me as it raises awareness on the fragility and beauty of our ecosystems, and the need to protect them. In Svalbard, where this picture was taken, both walruses and polar bears are protected. That’s unfortunately not the case in places like Canada and the USA, where polar bear hunting is still allowed.

To see more winning images from the open competition, please go to the Sony World Awards site, where you can see the results for the Open Competition (single images) but also the Professional one (series) and Student one.
A lot of talented photographers to discover!
